TCEQ (formerly known as TNRCC) regulates public water wells and water systems. Counties and cities regulate development. You must obtain a TCEQ permit approval for public wells and water supply systems. Chapman Engineering provides permitting, design, and regulatory support at all these levels. In 2004 and 2005, Chapman Engineering participated in a TCEQ project collecting water samples from public water systems across the state. After the project ended, Chapman Engineering continued to help water systems experiencing problems with high TTHMs. Some systems may need an extensive cleaning of storage tanks while others may need additional equipment added to the treatment process to improve the quality of distribution samples. Rain-water collection may be another alternative for businesses with low water needs. Talk to a Chapman Engineering representative today to see what may be the best solution for your water needs. |
