Water Availability Study
In Texas, the population is growing, but the
water supply is not. Many counties and cities require water studies to show
development can be done responsibly. This may apply to expanding municipal
or community water systems, or creating a brand new development.
Water use modeling and planning must be done for new residential, commercial
and industrial properties. New water uses must be based on sustainable water
resources, also taking into account how wastewater will be generated,
recycled and disposed of.
In
some Texas Hill Country counties, detailed studies are required for new
subdivision lots. Chapman Engineering has compiled large volumes of data on
current water use patterns, water availability,
TCEQ and regional water
plans, and studies in particular aquifer units. If you need information on
ground water in the
Hill Country, Chapman Engineering is ready to meet your
needs.
